Taking Inspired Action – No More Excuses
If there is one thing I have learned this past few days is this: I told myself I am going to do something different. I am going to take one inspired action each day towards the fulfillment of my goals.
Before that, I was sporting the “waiting” attitude. “I’ll do it tomorrow. I’ll wait. That can wait. I can’t yet. I don’t have everything in place. It needs to be perfect.” Sound familiar?
I think I ran out of excuses. I knew I was not going to get all “my ducks in a row” (despite what my pictures show you…they are in a row). I have learned that if I do not start today, I might never start it. By the time I know it, it might be close to the end of the year and I have accomplished 20% of what I had set out to do when I could aim for 100%.
As a coach who inspires people, right? I realize it is okay to be me. I do not have to be all perfect. Sometimes it is easy to get carried away. For today, I am going to do one thing a day and I will be okay. That is it. But, it has to be a worthwhile thing… like blogging
Take creating this blog as an example. I created it a few days ago, but I have just finally bust out a few lines onto the page. It is a worthwhile goal for me, but it might not seem like it to you. Some people blog professionally so. I’m just getting started here. Where it leads to? I have no clue. It is okay because I do not need to know all the answers, but I do know that answers are in and around me.
So no more excuses. Just keep doing something. Enjoy this post of my mental digest and mental detox. Until next time…Happy Friday!!!
